Nationally Board Certified Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist
Many years ago, I was a professional deep sea commercial diver. In that hazardous profession I developed bone and joint pain and other physical discomfort over time. After personally finding relief through natural bodywork treatments, I made a major career change to enable me to assist other individuals to find pain relief naturally.
My practice offers traditional, focused massage and bodywork therapy for pain, stress and other specific needs. I am committed to providing techniques that positively affect the health and well-being of my clients. If they have chronic pain and are looking for alternatives to medication and surgery, I have a lot of options to offer. In addition to massage and bodywork, I can provide a non-medical pain relief option using corrective exercise, postural alignment therapy and post rehabilitation. For those seeking a whole-body healing experience, I create a unique session integrating aspects of mind-body. This holistic approach, one that considers not only the body's specific physical symptoms, but the entire mind-body, can be the missing link to wellness.
I enjoy relaxing at the beach, swimming, hiking, exercising, reading, skiing, diving, sailing and spending time with my wife, Jackie, family and friends.

Certified Nutritional Health Coach
I'm a person, just like you, who personally struggled in the past with many of the same issues my clients face. Integrating practical healthy diet and lifestyle principles dramatically improved my health and happiness. That is why I chose to leave my profession as a school teacher to continue my education study in holistic nutrition and health and lifestyle nutrition coaching. My education enables me to guide and support individuals to build healthy new habits and create sustainable lifestyle changes. I firmly believe everyone wants to become better equipped to stay on a healthy track to achieve their most optimal state of wellness.
I received my training as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the largest nutrition school in the world, and Holistic Nutrition at Clayton College of Natural Health. Health coaching and holistic nutrition are a modern natural approach to developing a healthy balanced diet while taking into account the entire person instead of any one single problem. I received my board accreditation as a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). I am a Certified Stress Management Coach, a member of the International Association for Health Coaches, and the South Carolina Herbal Society.
I have coached clients with many health issues including weight loss and gain, blood sugar imbalances, food sensitivities and allergies, digestive issues including acid reflux, and irritable bowel syndrome, mood swings, stress, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, high blood pressure, dementia, low energy, insomnia, mental fog, pain, inflammation, work and life imbalances. I offer private health and lifestyle coaching in my office, by phone, email and Skype. We can have a great session wherever you are. Distance coaching is ideal for anyone outside of the Charleston area or when fear is holding an individual back from coming in person. I strive to be accommodating, convenient, and flexible, all while maintaining effectiveness. I invite you to learn new and better ways to take good care of yourself.
I have everything to be thankful for, my work, my family and friends, walks on the beach, hikes in the mountains, cooking, reading, and spending time in nature.
