Many of our clients are confused and feel overwhelmed with making healthy eating choices. Organic? Grass fed? Gluten free? Healthy fats? Vegan?  Raw Food? Paleo? Vegetarian? In our quest for healthy eating we can feel confused and left not knowing what to eat.

Clients often come to us after trying to follow a fad eating plan they read or heard about. They reported feeling disappointed, confused and unhappy. They found it hard to sustain and didn’t feel great with their results.

Here’s the reason why they weren’t successful and happy - there is no one-size-fits-all approach that works for everyone. There are so many personal differences in everyone’s anatomy, metabolism, body composition, ethnic background and individual preference that influence overall health.

Our health and lifestyle nutrition coach knows from experience what keeps one person nourished, happy and fit does not work for every single other person. For example, the food that is perfect for your unique body, age and lifestyle may make another person gain weight, feel lethargic and have digestive upsets.

Even with our best intentions it can be hard to sustain an eating plan. This is because it’s not just the food we eat that make us healthy and feeling great, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives.  Healthy relationships, regular physical activity, a fulfilling career, and a spiritual practice are essential forms of lifestyle nourishment.

The good news is our health and lifestyle nutrition coach uses an approach called bio-individuality – each person is a unique individual with highly individualized needs and preferences. Our bodies are an amazing intricate system that contains an incredible feedback mechanism. Instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all approach on you, we will collaborate with you to create an action plan that fits you perfectly. You will be guided and encouraged to adapt healthy eating and lifestyle choices with step-by-step recommendations that are sustainable, healthy meal recipes, informational hand-outs, and resources to enhance the changes you are making.
